Join other Christian professionals who want to use their faith to make a difference in their workplace.

God has always intended our work to be an act of worship, but in today’s climate it can be challenging to see how we can bring our faith into the workplace.

The Bring Faith to Work Conference was founded on the mission to help people view their work as worship and their workplace as their mission field.

The day will be filled with speakers, worship, a professional power panel, and more to bring stories, insights, and inspiration on how we can live out our faith every day. Participants can expect to walk away with a specific action plan on how to approach their work with the purpose of changing the world for God's Kingdom.

We are called to collaborate with others. When we combine our time, talent, and resources with others we can do so much more than alone. Together, we can change our world.

 
 

SPEAKERS


 
Melissa Barber is an inspirational speaker and singer – presenting concerts and talks for groups of all sizes – witnessing to what Jesus continues to do in her life, personally, professionally and spiritually, as well as in the lives of others. A lifelong Catholic, she began leading worship in grade school. She went on to become a professional singer, actress and executive producer.  Never being afraid to express her faith, every step of the way, she has dedicated her time and talent to music ministry, mentorship, retreat leadership, drama ministry, healing services and raising funds for the National MS Society. She recently combined her passions for ministry and production to start Purpose Productions – a company focused on concerts, keynotes and events.  Melissa is an Executive Producer for public and private conferences, conventions, meetings and events. She manages all pre-production elements, including script development, speaker graphics, video development, custom music and entertainment, coaching presenters, site inspections, A/V coordination, and onsite direction of the show.  Over the past twenty-five years, she has managed event, video and digital interactive projects for Fortune 500 & 1000 corporations, retail corporations, automotive corporations, financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, national associations, medical institutions, museums/science centers, educational institutions/organizations, religious organizations, and theatrical organizations. And several of the projects she has produced have been the recipient of Communicator Awards and Telly Awards.  Melissa seeks to find the joy in each day as she interacts with clients and her teammates. Her project management role requires leading and directing scriptwriters, composers, graphic designers, web & app developers, video production crews, editors and audiovisual crews. All the while, she aims to inspire others and collaborate in a creative, resourceful, and meaningful way for every project.

Christina attended Taylor University in Indiana where she majored in Elementry Education. After graduating she moved to the Chicagoland area and quickly discovered Middle School Science to be the place where she would excel as a teacher. While teaching, Christina has also earned her Masters in School Administration, completed graduate-level Science courses and her ESL endorsement. Christina met her husband Kip in 2003 when they were both working at a summer camp in Michigan. Together they have three kids. Kylah (10), Cali (6), and Easton (2).

The Great Commission is God’s business for all followers of Jesus Christ. This is the ultimate instruction Jesus gave His disciples to inform the world of His teachings and example. This message will provide key steps to align your career leadership goals and values to His business.

12:45 PM - Professional Power Panel with Christina Blohm, Nic Sparacio, Travis Dodge

This dynamic session will include the perspective of several individuals in very different workplace environments. Come learn from a business executive, public sector employee and a teacher as they will be answering many questions on how they effectively do, and sometimes struggle with, living out their faith at work on a daily basis. Questions will be a mix or pre-determined and yes, ones that you will get to ask live during the session!

+ Do you have discounts for large groups?

Yes we do! Please email us and we will get in touch with for your group size and discount. Rates start at $50 per person and go down from there depending on your quantity.



+ Is food provided?

Yes, a basic box type lunch will be provided, as will light snacks, coffee and water throughout the day



+ Where should I stay?

+ Do you offer refunds?

Refunds (minus the transaction and administration fees of $5.00) will be provided for any cancellation prior to September 15th. After that time, refunds are not provided.



+ I'm not a big church going person, am I welcome?

Absolutely! All are welcome, come as you are. We will be including Christian aspects, but this is not a church service; and everyone will benefit from the conference material.



+ Are you affiliated with any church or denomination?

No we are not affiliated with any specific church or denomination. Bring Faith To Work Conference was founded by Randy Fox, a Christian, husband, father and professional speaker that simply wants to help change the world through workplace believers that attend.



+ What age groups should attend this event?

Adults in the workforce, including stay at home parents. This Conference is ideal for anyone 18 years and up, (we ask no children under 12 attend as we do not have childcare services).



+ Where do I park?

Parking will be available onsite.



+ What time should I arrive?

Registration will begin at 8am. Coffee and light snacks are available, yet this will not be a full breakfast.



+ What should I bring or do to prepare for the event?

Even though we will have a printed program, you might want to bring your device, notebook/pen, whatever works for you to take notes. Most importantly, come with your mind ready to receive; it's going to be a great day!
